d72 KITCHENS / HOT WATER TAPS
Left: GROHE’s Red kitchen tap has been revamped with new features added. The tap provides kettle-hot water of up to 99°C and the updated model now offers new sleek controls, a smart child lock device and an energy saving ‘holiday’ mode, which caps the maximum water temperature inside the boiler at 60°C. It is available as a Duo model, allowing cold and hot water to be mixed like a conventional kitchen tap, or as a Mono model which solely supplies boiling water alongside an existing kitchen tap. Below: Quooker has launched its new CUBE system which enables a Quooker tap to provide filtered chilled and sparkling water alongside 100°C boiling, cold and hot water. Available in the UK from next month, the CUBE has been designed as an option to be added to any current Quooker system and is installed in the kitchen cabinet next to the Quooker tank. It attaches to a CO₂ cylinder that provides 60 litres of sparkling water, and which can be returned to Quooker for refilling. Quooker /
