(term time) for children from 2 years and we can offer 15 and 30 hours funded childcare places, subject to eligibility. Breakfast club (8am-9am) and after school club (3.15pm- 6pm) for children from 4 years runs during term time Monday to Friday. Holiday club is open during half


each term, Easter and


Summer holidays and we are now reserving places for Easter. Places are available for children from 4-13 years and we welcome children from all schools.


Parent and toddler group is


held at Dragonflies Children’s Centre each Friday (term time) from 1.15pm-3.15pm, these are drop in sessions so just come along. £2 per family. Many thanks to all those who joined us on our

CONQUEST Art is the name of an Art Group for adults with a wide range of disabilities. It was started in 1978 by Ursula Hulme MBE, an artist who recognised that art could be an invaluable aid in improving the lives of people living

Local sportsman qualifies for British Youth Fencing Championships


A local teenager has recently qualified for the British Youth Fencing Championships to be held in Sheffield in May. Duncan Metherell,


aged


14 years, earned a place to represent the Eastern Region in


the under 16 boys’ epee event following his success at the Eastern Region qualifying rounds in Stevenage


this year. Duncan faced stiff competition

Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire,

Norfolk and Suffolk-based fencers.


Duncan, who lives near Halesworth, has been fencing for just over 2 years with the Great Yarmouth & Waveney Fencing

Yoxford & Peasenhall Primary School Tuesday

Councillor Richard Smith visited Yoxford and Peasenhall Primary School’s Early Years Centre.

storage for the children in the Early Years Centre for their outdoor resources. Councillor

external storage and returned recently to present a cheque to Miss Gail Jerman the Academy Head and the school’s Reception children. Caroline Rankin, Head of Service for Early Years says, “The new external storage will ensure the children’s outdoor resources stay safe and dry all year round. The children are very excited that they will be able to access their equipment independently and we would like to say a big ‘Thank you’ to Mr Smith for all his help towards our project."
