Gung-Ho! Seriously Fun 5k Children in Need
Te world’s biggest 5k is back – and it will be bigger and beter than ever. Gung-Ho! Seriously Fun 5k will give people across the region a chance to relive the days of Total Wipeout, Fun House and It’s A Knockout as they climb over and through giant inflatables. Tis time, the run is coming to Mote Park in Maidstone, for the first time ever on Saturday, June 8.
Tousands of pounds are expected to be raised
for amazing causes thanks to people taking part for charity, adding to hundreds of thousands of pounds already fundraised at previous events. Tis year, participants can race in aid of the event’s national charity partner BBC Children in Need. Charity tickets are available at

Tunbridge Wells Race for Life
Cancer Research UK
The Race for Life Royal Tunbridge Wells route in Dunorlan Park is on Sunday, June 2 at 11:00am. You will be taken alongside the lake, around the grounds of the park, finally leading up to the Grecian Temple and finishing exactly where you started. Te 5k course is a mixture of terrain, with some inclines and an all-round great atmosphere. With local supporters cheering you on, you are sure to have a great experience. Herne Bay Chicken Run
Strode Park Foundation
A 5k sponsored chicken run starting and finishing at Herne Bay pier with all proceeds going towards the work of Strode Park Foundation. The entry fee is £16.50 for age 12 and over which includes your free super chicken costume!
Children aged 7-11 are welcome to join in for £5 and supply their own costumes. Registration on Herne Bay pier starts at 9am for a warm up at 10.15am. Te run starts at 10.30am.

JDPR funds research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes. They work with government, academia and industry to accelerate research in the UK and within healthcare policy to ensure that the outcomes of research are delivered to people with disease in the UK.

A Race for Life 5k takes about an hour to complete, but there’s absolutely no pressure to finish in a certain time. It’s about uniting in the fight against cancer - no matter what your pace.
Cancer Research UK are world leaders in finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. The charity says it receives no government funding for its work, relying on funds volunteers raise.
Tonbridge One Fun Run Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
Take on a thrilling family friendly 2.5km course, obliterate obstacles and get covered in colour, all while raising money to support type 1 diabetes research. It will be fun for children and adults. Get your team together and join hundreds of others for a memorable day out. Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult (over 18). Tere must be at least one adult for every five children under eight. Tickets cost £15 per child and £10 per adult. Online registrations close at 5pm on Sunday June 16. On the day registrations will be available but the cost of a ticket will increase by £5.
