Spring Festival Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve, Sevenoaks


A wonderful celebration of spring as the animals begin to reveal themselves and the flowers start to bloom. Activities and crafts for everyone to enjoy, choose your perfect selection for a fantastic day out. This event runs from 10.30am to 3.30pm. Learn how to make a range of nature-friendly crafts which you can take home to encourage nature in your garden. Activities to include pond dipping, mini-beasting, bird-watching and meadow netting. Crafts include seed bomb making, grass heads, willow weaving and more! Prices are £3 per craft and £2.50 per activity.


April 19 - 22 Easter Weekend on


the SKLR Sittingbourne and Kemsley Light Railway, Sittingbourne


There are plenty of opportunities to visit the railway this Easter, as the train is running on all four days. A quick return trip takes about an hour, but feel free to stay longer and visit the award winning gardens, museum and railway shop. Tickets are £7 for adults and £3.50 for children. Easter at Belmont Belmont House and Gardens, Faversham


Take part in an outdoor trail around the grounds to win a chocolate treat, then head back to the Orangery to get crafty with some Easter-themed activities. The tea tent will be open from 11am serving soup, cakes and seasonal treats. This event is from 11am to 3pm. The cost is £5 per child and £2 per adult. Normal house tour admissions still apply.

This event is a walk through the woods learning about the myths and legends that are connected to the trees and plants, as well as identifying the trees you will also explore what uses they have. There will also be an Easter- themed tree trail as well. There are two sessions for this event at 10am to 12pm, and 1pm to 3pm.

Historic Headwear Hunt


Royal Engineers Museum, Gillingham


Children visiting the museum this Easter can forget bonnets and discover the unusual hats, caps, helmets and more worn by the Royal Engineers over the last 300 years! There’s even a chance to try on some old-style uniform hats as they tour the Museum. This event is included in standard admission prices. The museum open from 10am to 5pm (last admission 4pm).


Enjoy a welcome drink from Wagamama before settling down to watch a Studio Ghibli film. There’ll be another drink courtesy of Wagamama at the interval. Then find out more about the museum’s fabulous Japanese collections. Tickets are £12 per person, which includes a welcome and interval drink. This event is 6-9pm.
