April 6 – 22 Cadbury Easter


Egg Hunt Emmetts Garden, Sevenoaks


Collect fascinating facts about the amazing trees to play ‘tree trumps’ at the end with your friends and family. See if you can spot Lubbock the lamb hiding in the garden during your hunt and collect your chocolate prize. This event runs from 10am to 4pm. Tickets cost £3 per trail and normal admission charges apply.

April 6 Heritage Transport Show


Detling Showground, Maidstone


This show features over 700 vehicles including motorbikes, cars, tractors, commercials and many more. The South East Bus Festival will also be joining the event. The festival is a firm favourite and will be featuring a display of over 100 buses and bus-related trade stands. Visitors and exhibitors can take advantage of as many free vintage bus rides around the showground as they like. The gates will open to the public at 10am and the event closes at 4pm. A story about friendship and true magic. Full to the brim with lively songs by Tom Gray of Gomez that will have everyone joining in! This event is from 2.30pm to 3.30pm (doors open at 1.45pm). This drama group is back with its latest spectacular theatre experience for all ages-especially 2-8 year olds. Tickets are £8 on the door.


April 6 Fun Quiz Night &


Hearty Supper Hothfield Village Hall, Ashford


The supper will comprise a choice of homemade tasty dishes with something for everyone, including a vegetarian option. Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm start. There will be a raffle with some great prizes including hampers, a Sunday lunch at The Swan at Little Chart and at The Black Horse at Pluckley, pitch and putt tickets at Great Chart Golf and Leisure, bottles of wine and more. LEGO Exhibition Tenterden Station, Tenterden


The Kent and East Sussex Railway will be hosting this LEGO exhibition. It will feature LEGO models, including full-sized figures from civilisations around the world, including an Aztec, a Samurai Warrior, Egyptian pharaoh and an ancient Greek philosopher. This is held every first Sunday of the month, from 10am to 2.30pm. It will be show casing fresh local produce, hand-made crafts and much more. A small charity donation is required on entry.

Motors by the Moat Leeds Castle, Leeds


See vintage, high performance and classic cars on display all around the Castle grounds and experience a spectacular live stunt show. Visitors will be able to vote for their favourite cars across nine different categories.

Hanami Picnics Brogdale Collections, Faversham Discover the traditional Japanese festival of the cherry blossom at the site. With over 4,000 fruit tree varieties, it really is a sight to see. Explore the Japanese culture exhibition, sample Japanese food, have a go at origami and calligraphy and try on a kimono. Enjoy a tour of the blossoming orchards and picnic under blossom. This event must be booked 48 hours in advance. Please bring your own picnic as picnics are not included. Ticket prices for adults (16+) is £11.50 and children tickets (aged 2 - 15) is £2.50. The event starts at 10:30am (for a noon picnic) or 1pm (for a 2.30 pm picnic).
