Infl atable hire safety
With the recent infl atable and bouncy castle accidents in the news, we know many PTAs are concerned about having bouncy castles at their summer fairs. Knockout Challenge Ltd (knockout-
challenge.co.uk) has put together an easy-to-read guide on these types of structures, which are very safe when used in the correct way and with the correct companies supplying and supervising them. The guidance covers maximum wind speeds, anchor points, number of users and certifi cation, with links to further reading to put PTAs’ minds at rest and enable you to put any unsure parents at ease. Visit
pta.co.uk/licences to read the guide.
