MEMBERS RATE OUR CHAMBER SERVICE
Members of Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce have praised the service they receive from the award-winning organisation. The Chamber sent out its Members’ Survey to all members over the
summer and businesses were asked to highlight how the Chamber was performing well and in which areas it could improve performance. An impressive 90 per cent of respondents said they would
recommend membership to others and around three-quarters felt they receive value for money from membership. More than a third said they were
not aware of the Chamber’s Representation and lobbying service, despite having issues surrounding Brexit and GDPR. In response to this, the
The Holiday Inn Express Kettering is happy to announce that their recent refurbishment is now complete. The refurbishment took 10 months to complete and cost over £500,000. The bedrooms have been
transformed from their dated decor to modern and sleek rooms with modern finishings and new bolder colours. The four meeting rooms were given a fresh coat of paint with new furniture and projector equipment to bring them up to date. Reception and lounge areas were the last areas of the hotel to be completed with new flooring, furniture and colours making it more stylish, warm and inviting. The business area has also been renovated to include a larger work desk with power points meaning
more guests can use the facilities at any one time. Sales co-ordinator Allen Tew
said: “The hotel is nearly 10 years old. We listened to feedback from both the leisure and business markets and now the hotel is the perfect place to relax or work in comfort. “Whether you are here for
business in the week or staying with us on weekends to visit nearby attractions, you can guarantee our newly refurbished rooms will give you that great night’s sleep you need.”

book onto Chamber events because they sell out so quickly. In order to give as many people as possible the chance to attend,
the Chamber has increased all events by one more table where possible, allowing an extra 10 people, supported by board directors agreeing to table host. Tracey Griffiths, Northamptonshire Chamber’s head of operations,
said: “It is fantastic to be able to receive this kind of feedback from our valued members. I am delighted to see that so many would recommend us to other businesses but we are not complacent and will continue to invest in all areas of our service to allow us to do all we can to support the Northamptonshire economic landscape.” All respondents to the survey were entered into a prize draw to win
a complimentary hire of a meeting room for up to 10 delegates at Sedgebrook Hall. The winner was John Romeis of Verdandi Consulting.
