2016 MAA Seminar in Solihull


We greatly appreciated the positive feedback that we received from members after the last Seminar that was held in London last June.


We have been encouraged by the number of members that have indicated that they wish us to host another Seminar but somewhere more central in the UK.


We have accordingly booked The Blyth Room, at The Stonebridge Golf Centre - Somers Road – Meriden – Coventry - CV7 7PL for “The Harvest Time” Seminar to be held on Thursday, 13th September 2018.


2017 MAA Seminar in London


The location is right next to The NEC just off the M42 & 10 minutes by car from the M6 Junction 3A. Close to NEC Rail station & also Birmingham Airport.


The Seminar will be dedicated to exclusively for MAA Members & their Guests.


Speakers will include 2 major sessions across the day with top Agency Lawyer, Larry Coltman, on Agency Law, Your Rights & privileges, including compensation v. indemnity, valuations, retirement, death in service, Agreements & Contracts, etc.


Additionally, ref the dreaded GDPR- was it all a “storm in a teacup” ? Has the reality has set in? What Agents realistically need to do to remain compliant with the Regulations.


Also, Ralph Perkins, Director of Davies Turner Air Cargo Ltd, will be giving his up to date insights on doing business “globally”- helping Agents to prepare for all eventualities including how to do business inside & outside the EU- post Brexit. All those new forms/codes/regulations to be aware of !!!

Other speakers include Brian Riddell from the Salespeoples Charity, & Ian Retallick with his take on how your Customers & Independent Retailers can take on the Giants and Win


The team at The MAA will be giving brief updates through the day on developments within The MAA & IUCAB as well as how to make best use of the Agent Search with principals looking for you!


There will be opportunities for “1-2-1” sessions with our experts throughout the day by prior arrangements.


In the past these sessions have proved to be especially popular- enabling agents to meet with Larry Coltman on specific legal issues- all within the cost of the seminar!
