our new Wiltshire and Swindon School Games Mascot
Meet Ra Cat
Thank you to all the schools that entered the Design the Mascot competition.
Well done to all who entered for their well-drawn, interesting and imaginative designs. It was a hard choice for the judging panel at WASP but they finally agreed on the best design that could be turned into a real life costume was from Martha Griffiths from Wanborough Primary School. Martha’s mascot is called ‘Ra Cat’ and when Alma Borthwick from WASP took the real life ‘Ra Cat’ along to Martha’s school assembly she couldn’t believe her eyes. Martha’s parents appeared to see how her design had been transformed into the full size costume character and they were thrilled.
Thanks to Martha you can now see ‘Ra Cat’ at your School Games
festivals and if you would like ‘Ra Cat’ to come along to one of your school sports events then just contact Kirsty at WASP on 01380 725111
