Children’s eating habits influenced by

YouTube stars If your children watch videos of social media personalities eating junk food, there’s a good chance they’ll eat more calories themselves, suggest scientists from the University of Liverpool. In tests, children were shown

pictures of YouTube stars promoting healthy and unhealthy foods. When offered snacks afterwards, those who had watched the promotion of unhealthy foods ate 26 per cent more calories than those who watched online stars promoting healthy foods. The study was presented at the

European Congress on Obesity, just days after NHS figures showed that more than 22,000 who finished primary school last year were obese. Talk to your local Careway

pharmacist if you're worried about your child's weight. Find your nearest pharmacy at www.careway.co.uk/find-a- pharmacy.

Many women are affected by cystitis, but what is it exactly? According to the NHS, cystitis is when your bladder

becomes inflamed, which is usually the result of having a bladder infection. Symptoms include abdominal pain, a strong urge to urinate but little urine being produced, cloudy or dark urine (sometimes with a strong smell) and feeling tired, nauseated and aching. The good news is mild cases of cystitis get better on

their own within a few days. But if you get more severe symptoms, or if you experience recurrent episodes of cystitis, you may need regular or long-term treatment. For more information on treating cystitis, speak to

your GP or your local Careway pharmacist. Find your nearest Careway pharmacy at www.careway.co.uk/find-a-pharmacy.
