how much do you know? How did you score?

For each correct answer, give yourself three points. Correct answers are: 1d); 2b); 3d); 4d); 5b); 6d).

13-18 points Well done, you’ve got a good knowledge of the facts about stress. There’s a good chance you’ll know what it’s like to feel stressed. And as you may already know, how you respond to that stress is important. If you tend not to respond particularly well, your pharmacist can give you plenty of helpful tips – find your nearest Careway pharmacy at www.careway.co.uk/find-a-pharmacy.

7-12 points That’s not a bad score at all, and you obviously have some knowledge about stress. But did you know that some stress may actually be good for you? A little stress can help you focus, for instance, which can be helpful in challenging situations or when you’re learning a new skill. Changing your perception about stress – seeing it as a positive rather than negative thing – can make a big difference.

0-6 points You could know more about stress. But it’s not the end of the world by far. An important thing to learn, however, is how to spot when you feel stressed, as spotting that you’re having a problem means you can take steps to manage the situation. And remember, your pharmacist is always on hand to offer tips and advice if you’re not sure whether or not a symptom may be related to stress.
