Autumn Estate Walk Godinton House and Gardens, Ashford
Join Nick Sandford, Estate Is it time to make a difference?
Four hours of your time, whether it’s working in one of our charity shops or cafés, as a complementary therapist or supporting our nurses with patients, in our administration offices or helping at an event, it makes such a difference to our patients and their families.
Janet says: “Volunteering as a complementary therapist at the Hospice is a privilege. Patients and their families are often amazed there’s someone to give them a massage. We talk about anything and everything. I definitely get back more than I give.”
Jean, a patient who visits the Hospice to take part in a wide range of activities on our Living Well programme, explains: “I enjoy coming and the volunteers add so much! They lift you; their kindness, time, stories and chat really makes a difference to how I feel.”
Find out more at our Volunteer Open Mornings in the Hospice from 10am – 1pm on Saturday 14th July, Saturday 11th August, Saturday 8th September and Saturday 13th October or visit
