Seven concerts, five exhibi- tions, four children’s events, two theatrical performances, three poetry recitals and a churches tour. There’s some- thing for everyone! Changeling Theatre’s open-air production of Noel Coward’s comedy classic Blithe Spirit kicks off the festival in New Romney’s Old School Garden. Chart-topping voces8 and the Canterbury Cathedral Girls’ Choir join forces for the first time ever and the BBC Singers and BBC Radio 3 return performing one of the greatest choral works, Rach- maninoff’s Vespers, as part of the festival’s commemoration of WW1. The London Mozart Players and Mousai Singers perform Fauré’s Requiem. The lavender is in full bloom in July and the farm holds a range of event, including food tastings and massage. Tours explain the process of lavender production, from fields to distillery with an expert guide. Tour is about half a mile long. Weekend tours; adults £6, children 5-14 £3, book on ar- rival.
