Hot Tub & Swim Spa Scene FINANCE CHOICES

control the process from start to finish. Lloyd Burden has a different approach though, tending to negotiate a finance rate on behalf of his entire global network.
There are the inevitable ‘banana skins’ to avoid, Samantha Murphy recommends that dealers only ever deliver the hot tub to the address on the finance application. “We performed a site visit to a customer and after setting up finance, we realised the finance address was different to the delivery
address,” Samantha recalls.
“Suspicious that something wasn’t quite right, we cancelled the finance agreement and called the customer asking for a call back urgently. We never heard from him and reported the incident to the police.” ■
TOP FINANCE CHOICES Award Leisure
Award Leisure uses Barclays Partner Finance. The provider offers the following deals: 0% credit over 12, 24 or 36 months (minimum 25% deposit.), buy now and pay later (minimum 25% deposit required.), and interest-bearing finance with 9.9% APR over 36,48,60 or 120 months with a minimum 10% deposit.
North Spas
North Spas uses V12, who specialise in financing luxury items and work with over 2,000 retailers across the UK. The company uses V12 because they have a system which gives immediate decisions. In addition, V12 does not charge for overpayments or early repayment, both of which are promoted by North Spas.

HydroPool HydroPool uses Hitachi Finance, which is very flexible and can be a £500-£5000 deposit and 1-5 years interest-free or up to 10 years interest-bearing on bigger projects. According to HydroPool’s Lloyd Burden, all finance providers offer very similar deals – it’s the underwriting procedure that differs.
