SCP UK Host Dealer Wellness Academy
Representatives from more than 50 companies took part in the recent Wellness Academy, hosted by SCP UK.
The SCP team opened its doors for two days to host the focus on wellness in its dedicated Academy Seminar Room and newly- created showroom area which will form part of the new Trade Counter being built at the Gatwick Head Office. All four of SCP’s spa and hot tub brands were on show along with five Sentiotec Saunas and a large range of spa accessories and water treatment products. Ian Pratt, SCP UK’s Sales, Sourcing and Marketing Director commented: “Many customers took the opportunity to select their 2018 flooring stock resulting in more than 50 models being sold and eight saunas.”
Specific interest was shown in the new Beachcomber 730AV hot tub featuring the all new Signature cabinet with Star Trail lighting. New cabinets also featured on the 2018 Week End Spa range which were well received.
A Cove Retreat Spa with the ‘Holiday Park’ upgrade package was on display featuring the key upgrades that are standard for the Holiday Park market and available on all five Cove Spa models.
Ian concluded: “The event demonstrates SCP’s huge capability and portfolio of products for the wellness sector of the market. “We look forward to bringing on new dealers throughout 2018 as well as continuing to support existing Wellness customers grow their businesses.

Mosaic finishes have long been considered to offer luxury appeal and are ideal for the premium end of the market. The added value is they are also ideal, where building time is best kept to a minimum, as they are factory-built and plumbed, needing just positioning and commissioning.
Aegean supply custom mosaic hot tubs and swim spas and hydrotherapy pools to trade customers including property developers and architects. “We offer skimmer style or overflow spas and all projects are unique and limited only by the customers’ imagination,” explains Aegean’s Chris Perry.
“This method reduces on-site time, labour,
mess and therefore can be a cost-effective option over concrete builds,” he adds.
“Whilst in-ground installations rarely get moved, the units can be relocated in future if required. “Access to pipework and the back of the spa is better and thus future maintenance is easier if required.”
Fully wet-tested prior to packaging and shipment, standard warranty is five years on structure and two years on equipment. Every spa is built to order and overseen by an experienced spa project manager throughout the production process. Once signed off, lead time is six to eight weeks depending on the complexity and size of the project.
