I make no claims that this year’s Top Tips will make you into an Amateur or Open champion, but I can show you how using the mental image of a clock face will help to deliver a wide range of distances and trajectories, and in turn improve your short game.

Using your left arm, simply get the feel of moving to 8 o’clock - and then use your right arm to swing through to 4 o’clock.
