event will feature a mix of innovative production technology, equipment, ingredients and other developments, many of which will be unveiled for the very first time. The world’s leading trade fair for

bakery, confectionery and snacks, taking place from 15 to 20 September 2018 in Munich – covering the whole spectrum of the bakery, confectionery and snack food sector – has many things planned. ”We aspire to extend iba’s leading posi- tion in the bakery, confectionery and snack sector, because the fair portrays the world’s most important trends of that trade”, explains Dieter Dohr, CEO of GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmes- sen mbH. “That’s why food safety, iba. Mr Wippler is convinced that a visit to iba offers many suitable business improve- ments, providing visitors with a competi- tive edge.

iba consistently plays host to many of the market leaders in the bakery indus- try, and numerous companies use the event to premiere their new innovations for the very first time. Not only do they showcase them, but they can also show them up-and-running live on their stands too – an experience that is typically well- received by the show’s many visitors. Demonstrations of this nature are complemented with problem-solving

iba will take place from Sep- tember 15-20, 2018 in Munich, Germany. KBP will continue our pre-event coverage in next month’s issue, followed by a full show preview in our July / August issue. Angus Kennedy will also be conducting the legendary Kennedy’s one-to-one interviews during the show.
