Unlock Potential with Unique Dyslexia Programme Call Cellfi eld in STIRLING on 01786 447 527 info@cellfi eld.co.uk | www.cellfi eld.co.uk Help with Overcoming Dyslexia

Teacher and former Headteacher, Fiona Macdiarmid – known to many parents as Centre Director of Stirling’s Kip McGrath Education Centre – is passionate about helping people achieve their potential.

In addition to providing tuition,

she also delivers the unique Cellfi ed Dyslexia Programme, which helps people overcome dyslexia and similar processing diffi culties. Fiona believes Cellfi eld is the most exciting development in education she has come across in her 30 year career:

in addition to improvement in reading and language, clients also feel it has a positive impact on their overall self esteem and confi dence”.

Based on neuroscience and brain plasticity research, Cellfi eld is a multi sensory programme which stimulates the brain networks that process visual and auditory aspects of reading. This leads to improved reading and language processing and average gains of up to 2 years in reading age can be achieved.

In addition to this, many Cellfi eld clients report other positive

changes which lead to improved confi dence and self esteem: “Cellfi eld really has proved life changing for many of our clients”, says Fiona.

It is believed that dyslexia aff ects about 10% of the population and, whilst the degree varies widely, in essence being dyslexic means your brain processes things diff erently from others. These processing diffi culties can inhibit fl uent reading and learning and can have a major impact on school work, ultimate job prospects and overall self-esteem.

Families who suspect their child may be dyslexic can struggle to fi nd help. The fi rst thing is always to consult the child’s school because there are many resources – coupled with good teaching practice – which help. Families in the Stirling area are fortunate to have convenient access to Cellfi eld. To fi nd out more, contact the Stirling Cellfi eld Centre on 01786 447527. www.cellfi eld.co.uk
