SABOS are delighted to return to the Macrobert Arts Centre with their production of Oliver!

from Tuesday

27th to Saturday 31st March 2018. We welcome to the stage a wealth of local talent, including 55 children from the Stirling area who cannot wait to share their version of this well-loved show.

With a never-ending list of toe-tapping hit songs, this is a real must-see for any musicals fans. It tells the story of a young, Victorian orphan who dares to declare, “Please Sir, I want some more!”. After this fateful request for more gruel, he is sold to an undertaker. Young Oliver then courageously runs away, setting off to London to seek his fortune. There he meets the notorious Artful Dodger who takes him to meet Fagin and his gang of pick-pockets, along with the lovable Nancy and the infamous Bill Sykes.

Pictured above are Dylan Clark and Lucas Cuthbert (both playing Oliver) either side of Alexander Bland and Jake Speed (our roguish Artful Dodgers).

The most famous songs in this well- known show include Food Glorious Food, Oliver!, Consider

Yourself,

You’ve Got To Pick A Pocket or Two, Oom-Pah-Pah, Who Will Buy?, and As Long As He Needs Me.

Tickets are available from the Macroberts Arts Centre Box Offi ce (tel. 01786 466666) or via their website www.macrobertartscentre.org/ event/sabos-oliver . There are performances every evening at 7.30pm and a Saturday matinee which starts at 2.30pm. The tickets cost £17.50 (or £13.50 concession for all shows except Friday & Saturday night). Groups of 10 or more can get a discount of £1 off every ticket if they phone the Box Offi ce direct.
