he Kent County Show – on 6th, 7th and 8th July 2018 – will be hosting the spectacular Household Cavalry Musical Ride for this year’s
main ring attraction. Chairman of the Kent County Agricultural
Society, Kevin Attwood, said: “We are delighted to have the Household Cavalry at the Kent County Show in 2018. This will be our 89th show and we work hard to showcase the very best that Kent has to offer. “Likewise, the Household Cavalry Musical Ride is one of the best-mounted displays in Britain, if not the world, and the regiment has a reputation for excellence. We are sure their display will delight and entertain our visitors on all three days of the show.” There is a large cast of other attractions featuring at the annual show, including a display from the ‘Spirit of Kent’ Spitfi re, pig racing and entertainment from a pair of Hedge Men as well as Titan the Robot. • Tickets to see the Household Cavalry Musical Ride in action at the Kent County Show are on sale now. Boxing clever
If you’re out and about in Sevenoaks, look out for the once vandalised telephone box on Blackhall Lane, which is being refurbished and rehoused at The Vine with a defi brillator inside for public use. The project has been made possible by a very generous grant from Kent County Councillor, Margaret Crabtree through her Members Grant.
