The Wildwoods Convention Center host- ed over two-dozen sporting events and tournaments in 2016 that ranged from wrestling to cheerleading to basketball to gymnastics, plus Futsal, Roller Derby and Harlem Globetrotters competitions. The adjacent beach and ocean expand the venue’s offerings in a way that no other similar venue can - as in the summer, the sandy beaches are transformed into soc- cer, lacrosse, and Frisbee tournament fields.
Often ranked among the best beaches in the country, the Wildwoods’ five-miles of beautiful white sand beaches also are the largest beaches on the entire East Coast - making this destination a perfect setting for large events.
Whether it’s surfing or swimming compe- titions, outdoor concerts, beach drag races, beach soccer tournaments, field hockey and lacrosse tournaments, Ultimate Frisbee championships, Baseball on the Beach tournaments, Monster Truck rallies, volleyball, or track and field competitions. Add to that bleacher seat- ing for over 3,000 for spectators, and the Wildwoods enormous beaches are per- fect for hosting any outdoor event.
