and other equipment. It is often the case that partners approach Survitec because of its longstanding reputation for lifejackets, unaware that the organisation can often meet all of their other safety needs.

With an overarching aim to work collaboratively with all partners in order to provide the best safety equipment available, the company is there to ensure all their workers get home safely.

KEY MARKETS At present Survitec’s wind energy safety solutions are focused around the key markets of the UK, Belgium, Norway, Germany, Holland and Denmark, but there are growing opportunities as the developed world shifts its attention towards cleaner energy provision.

we have with our other key sectors. In areas where we have a longer history of expertise such as maritime, we have a reputation for not only ensuring equipment satisfies minimum safety standards, but also for going above and beyond what is required.

“In that sense we attempt to future proof our equipment so that it is not just as safe as possible for the day, week or month it is being used, but as far into the foreseeable future as is viable too,” Kevin concluded.

GROWING REPUTATION The company continues to grow its reputation in the wind energy sector by meeting more key partners and

China and the US are likely to afford limitless scope for growth in future and the company is increasingly well positioned to take advantage of this shift towards wind energy. With over 40 years’ experience in the offshore oil & gas industry, Survitec is able to evolve its equipment specifically for wind energy safety, demonstrating it is highly adaptable to market evolution too.

CONTINUING DEVELOPMENT Kevin Reid, Head of Aviation Sales at Survitec commented: “We currently supply in excess of 1,000 suits to around 10 separate projects, but we are well versed in servicing more sizeable assignments. For example, the oil field part of the Statoil contract will involve supplying safety equipment for around 1,500 individuals and this order size is something we are well positioned to efficiently process.

Kevin continued: “As the wind energy sector grows and evolves, we will strive to keep ahead of the trends and provide safety solutions to support this, just as

spreading the word about just what is possible. Rather than using multiple suppliers, knowing they can use one trusted partner for all their safety needs makes life much easier for procurement managers and those in charge of safety and survival of workers on windfarms.

It’s not just an off-the-peg solution either, with made to measure suits offering wearers the ultimate in safety, but also with ergonomical designs to provide maximum comfort too.

GO-TO SAFETY PROVIDER Survitec has long been a byword for safety and survival across a number of sectors and it aims to establish itself as the go-to safety provider for all things wind energy too.
