Equi-Trek continues support of British Showjumping

Equi-Trek, the northern-based manufacturer of horseboxes and trailers, will be continuing its support of the British Showjumping through a Business Partnership for the third consecutive year. The Business Partnership is pivotal in underpinning the performance pathway programme via the funding of the International Stairway series.

Equi-Trek is a family run business which specialises in horse transport; from lightweight, towable horse trailers with a safety enhancing side-ramp, to the professionals 10-stall, 26 tonne Mercedes Actros. Since the company was founded in 1999 with the launch of the industry’s first side-loading horse trailer with living accommodation, Equi- Trek has expanded to become one of the world’s leading equestrian brands. Since 2015 Equi-Trek has been a supplier to the British Equestrian Teams and is endorsed by some of Europe’s leading riders including John Whitaker, Nick Skelton and Performance Manager Di Lampard.

Equi-Trek vehicles are strength tested to give peace of mind to customers that their vehicle is as safe as it can be in the event of an accident. Equi-Trek remains the only horsebox manufacturer in the UK to build exclusively on a brand new

chassis and hold the prestigious VCA European Type Approval across their range. 2017 has been a particularly busy year for the now international company, which moved to an enormous new 72 acre manufacturing premises and public showroom near Sheffield. Equi-Trek also has around 20 approved dealerships across the UK.

Tom Janion, Managing Director of Equi-Trek commented “We are delighted to continue our support for the equestrian industry and for British Showjumping. At Equi-Trek we are a family of horse lovers who have owned, trained and competed horses all our lives. We hope that with our support we can continue to inspire and support the next generation in the sport that we love through the International Stairway series.”

Maria Haig, Head of Communications for British Showjumping added “All of us at British Showjumping are extremely pleased to be able to announce Equi-Trek’s continued support of the Business Partnership. Their support of the partnership is vital for the running of the International Stairway series and the way that they are aligned with the sport means that we can offer them the perfect platform for promoting their range of horse transport.”
