ing balance, justice and rela- tionships with everyone and everything. Librans can help to resolve is-
sues with friends and co-work- ers. They make great lawyers, counselors and therapists. It is often a pleasant surprise when they create a loving atmosphere at home and/or at work. Al- though Libras are clear think- ing and strong willed, they are often times unable to resolve some of their own challenges depending the

Sebastopol, CA. ~ This article appears in the midway point of the Zodiac sign of Virgo. As I mentioned in my first column appearing in the last UpBeat Times, these articles will al- ways fall at the midway point of each sign. Last month I gave you a glimpse of Virgo; now on the heart of the Virgin and a look at the upcoming Libra. Virgo, your momentary place
at high noon in the sun starts to move on. So try to let others have their say whether or not you agree. Although your intel- ligence and attention to detail may make this difficult for you, this act may help the loneliness
of a Virgo to be overturned. Your life will be so full, your friends will have to call ahead in order to see you. Remem- ber you are an earth sign. Stay grounded during these tumultu- ous times as a testament to the rest of us.
The purity of a sign can cause some consternation if one loses sight of the flowers in front of you. Searching the sky for E.T.s? You may very well have one living right next door, a Li- bra. In the third week of Sep- tember, the magical month of harvest time, enters the cardi- nal sign of Libra, the only sign of the Zodiac with no creature
It is an
and plan- ets in their houses. Of all the signs, Librans can be most empa- thetic and will show up when most needed.
As we round toward the end of the sign of Virgo, we approach Libra and begin to enjoy an intellectual period for the next six months. Although, you will also experience simi- larities to the past six months, your mind is now the designat- ed driver.
I’ve had remote viewing abilities since I was a kid:
this. The beer names are a group effort and the staff have input and as the beers evolve, so do the names. They add captions to go with each beer.

has an OG of 1.043, IBU 30, and 4.3% ABV. This to me, is your all-day-drinking beer. With a lower alcohol, you can enjoy a few and still stand on your own. The lower IBUs will make this a
favorite for those that are not par- ticular fans of IPAs.
I feel like this may be the year it all comes together. So, be the boss of the life you always wanted and rebirth the beauty and strength that has always been inside of you. And one more very important note- Regulus the Royal Star is now in Virgo leaving thousands of years rein in Leo male energy and entering into female Virgo which begins the next great epic of empowered female en- ergy.

A Very Happy, Happy Birthday to all you Virgo’s and Libra’s
See you next month! Zak Zaikine
The Beer Boys Review: ~ The Cooperage ~ ... continued from page 12 ABV 9.8%.
The catch
phrase at the bottom “Next up on Stage” suggests its name came from an old bar that has long since gone away. The two Pale Ales, Lt. Dang and Buttcurt, in my opinion, could have been called an IPA. They were both great and I would be hard-pressed to say which one I like better.
Their IBUs were within 10
points of each other. ABV were too close to contend. If I were to pick one I would go for the Lt. Dang, because the name reminds me of Forrest Gump. The two IPAs, Trimcoe and Hoppy Little Trees, again are

very close in their stats. IBUs and ABV are too close to call. I consider these more like a double IPA similar to Pliny from Russian River. If you are an IPA fan, these should be on your bucket list.
For an after-work happy hour, or weekend break, Cooperage is good choice. Cooperage is opened Monday through Friday from 2pm to midnight, and Saturday and Sunday from noon to midnight. They have a great, friendly atmosphere. |Support your local brewer and make a visit. Their web site

nity is pleased to announce the imminent arrival of the new direc- tor of the Museums of Sonoma County, Jeff Nathanson. Formerly with the Arts Council of Princeton, NJ and a special projects curator for the Princeton U Art Museum, Na- thanson will oversee the expansion of the Santa Rosa Art Museum. He is an alum of UC Santa Cruz and UCLA and is eager to increase con- nections with artists and arts orga- nizations in Sonoma County. On September 16 the Board of the Mu- seums invites the public to meet Jeff Nathanson, at the reception from 6 to 8 pm at the Museum. September in NYC was always
wonderful to me when I was young. Manhattan seemed to wake up in the brisk, fresh new colder air that caused the colorful leaves on the trees of Central Park to dance and make me feel like dancing. Tat was long ago, when NYC was a wel- coming place, vibrant with good, peaceful feelings aſter the horrors of WWII had finally ended. People were smiling again, as if we all lived in a friendly small town. Fear had dissipated. Suddenly, there were lights on again everywhere that had been dimmed during the war years. I was dazed at seeing the Broadway lights in full blaze for the first time as a teenager! Brilliant! September meant some new
clothes for school. Te joy of seeing friends we missed in summer.
It
was a time for fun and camaraderie again. September brightness today in NYC is dimmed by our honor- ing those we lost on 9/11 and whose memories we cherish. Be a part of upbeat light-bearing! Smile, my friends, and the world will give you smiles in return. Happy harvest time! ~ Ellie
