Fundraising focus Brickin’ it! A BEAUTIFUL WAY TO RAISE MONEY!
Have you been looking for an excuse to buy a new lipstick? Because I think you’ve just found it… We were recently contacted by Crowd Colour, a new high-quality, cruelty-free cosmetics brand whose mission is to take the beauty products that mums use every day and turn them into a funding source for schools. Following our suggestions, it
has come up with two fabulous ways in which you can raise funds. First up is its ‘Beautiful Way to Give’ cashback scheme, where every time one of your supporters buys a Crowd Colour beauty product, registered schools get 10% commission (paid quarterly).
The second is the ‘Shop in a
Box’ pack – perfect for pamper and shopping evenings, a stand at your Christmas fair or for a Mother’s Day gift shop. It features more than 80 items, including makeup remover, primers, lipsticks, mascaras, lipgloss, lip balm, eyeliners, eye shadows and makeup brushes – making it a great way to launch the cashback scheme. The products in the pack are provided at cost price (the display stand is free), sell the products on for the RRP (a price list is supplied) and For more information on signing up, go to

Fab Bricks uses genuine LEGO bricks to create its fun keyrings. Children can choose from a range of colours and fonts with which to personalise their brick with up to 15 characters of text. It’s a simple fundraiser – just hand out forms via book bags, collect completed forms, send off your order and receive the printed bricks within a couple of weeks, ready labelled with names and classes for easy distribution. What could be easier? The cost for PTAs is £2.25 per brick and Fab Bricks recommend selling for £3.25 (if parents wanted to order direct the cost for individual orders is £3.75 per unit. For every brick sold your PTA makes £1 profi t. Younger pupils can use their personalised bricks to help identify their book bags, while Year 5 and 6 pupils – who might be walking home for the fi rst time – can attach their door key. We think they’d also make a brilliant Father’s Day gift or school leaving present – the perfect accessory for new locker keys! For more information, visit
