Xmas4Schools The tracking system provided by Xmas4Schools gives each school access to their own unique portal, where they can view the progress of their order, from when artwork has been received and scanned, to when cards are printed and packed ready for delivery.


CASE STUDY


Chameleon Create Having previously focused on school leavers’ projects of mugs and autograph books, this year will be Chameleon Create’s fi rst foray into Christmas cards. The cards can be embossed with digital foiling for a creative fi nish.


‘Our Christmas card fundraiser is an annual activity – the staff and parents love that the cards are designed by the children, and we raise £350- £500 per year! The artwork forms and instructions are delivered within the fi rst two weeks of


term, and we take orders and payments from parents before half-term. TOP TIPS Some art materials don’t reprint well. Metallic pens


and holographic paper won’t have the same effect when artwork is scanned – neither will pale pencils on white paper. Make sure designs are bold and clear.


If children have their hearts set on using materials like glitter or sequins, why not add them to your printed cards? It will make them even more special, and the children will enjoy having another chance to get creative.


Pupils’ siblings and children of staff can take part, too. Submit their designs along with those from the school.


There’s more to Christmas than cards! All of our featured suppliers produce other products, from mugs and gift wrap to calendars and shopping bags, so why not consider exploring the Christmas gift market?


‘Merry Christmas’ isn’t the only greeting available. Your pupils could design cards for Diwali or Hanukkah, or save the idea for Eid. If your favourite supplier doesn’t offer specifi c greetings for these occasions, leave the cards blank for the children to write their own message.
