the structure of their lives. What had become of those standards since then? I was shown the influence of this Chakra extending out to Alexandria where all records were kept and stored securely, until it was burnt to the ground and the foundations of society’s structure was lost. In the other direction the energy reached to Mount Sinai, where Moses reput- edly received the Ten Commandments. Both these places on the ‘fringe’ of the Chakra, relate to society’s structure and also our own throat and matters of communication.
The Earth’s third eye, or brow Chakra moves and changes through different ‘Ages’. We are now within the time of Aquarius and it has settled over Western Europe. I saw this Chakra as several individual whirl- winds, moving across the continent, occasionally set- tling and then coming together as one huge vortex. The energy of each one was creativity, vision, and the ability to look at the world with an alternative perspec- tive. When all these separate vortices came together into one, there was an ‘explosion’ of inspiration, new
ideas, new movements in art and music, new styles of architecture and creative experi- mentation everywhere. The excitement was tremendous!
I was reminded of Covent Garden, with its jugglers, musicians, street performers, and art- ists. Areas of heightened creativity fascinate all those who visit, giving enjoyment, and quickening their own energy vibration. People are intuitively drawn to places such as these, and there are many locations. The highest point of Paris is the area of Montmartre also known as The Artists Quarter. I saw the image of it repeatedly when I was meditating on this sixth Chakra. Imagination, creativity, vision, freedom of expression, and inspiration are found in many places, but these two summed it up for me.
Our own third eye is our mind’s eye – our link to ‘seeing’ and understanding spiritually. Our imagination is the doorway to this. Open the door and you never know what you may find!
Mount Kailash in the Himalayas is designated as the Crown Chakra of Earth. It is a remote and quite inaccessible moun- tain that the most devout spiritual people make a pilgrimage to. It is formed from hard black rock and yet the top is covered in snow. It struck me that here is the balance of black and white, the Yin and Yang. Mount Kailash lies on the Rainbow Serpent Ley Line, bringing the attributes of all the colours of the rainbow running through it. This surely covers the entire spectrum, bringing all vibrations of Colour, Light and Dark into perfect balance.
In meditation, I was guided to a cave deep within the moun- tain. Seemingly suspended in the centre of the cave was a sphere emitting light. It slowly rotated and shadows formed on
the walls of the cave as it turned. It was instantly recognisable as the Earth. I was surprised to see this image here. My guide explained: “This Chakra of Earth is the place of the Crown, the self importance, and the ego. That is not the distorted, and often unfavourable perception you humans have of the ego. This is where the Earth holds its awareness as a living, breathing entity, its responsibility to itself, its need to survive, its importance in maintaining balance and the ability to support all life,
