ARTICLE t KRIYA YOGA

World Peace Mission update August 2017 Article written by Wendy Scott

Swami with Wendy Scott Escape to nature

The ‘Breath of Spring’ workshop was indeed a breath of fresh air, welcoming in the new season and working with one’s breath to bring about change in ourselves. As the new buds are sprouting from the ground Swami Aliyananda Paramahansa guided the participants of this workshop through an intense cleansing process. During the Saturday, she took the participants through a guided meditation using the breath of Kriya Yoga to help still the mind and go within, looking at the need for ‘forgive- ness’ in our lives. The students meditated on what aspects

of their lives needed forgiveness. Several students were surprised at the unexpected rev- elations that materialised to the surface. Through the high energy that permeated into Paramahansa’s ashram, it was possible for all participants to reach a very deep level of understandings, touching that inner being and really being able to get deeply in touch with the deeper aspects of forgiveness. This helped participants to be led through the aspects of “Who am I”? “Why am I here?”, “What is my soul purpose?”, these deep and revealing questions could be brought to the surface through the depth of meditation that participants were able to achieve in Paramahansaji’s presence. Some students travelled from Germany and others from London and East of England. There was a strong energy of love with everyone’s objective to be in peace, stillness and harmony.

During the Saturday, Paramahansa skilfully and gently guided the energy helping the stu- dents understand the revelations that they experienced. The energy of the group was totally held and supported, and a deepness of trust and community could be tangibly felt by all. On Sunday morning, Paramahansa was intuitively guided to continue the clearing of some residue on forgiveness. To the surprise of many of the group, further thoughts emerged during the deepest of meditations.

Once this energy had felt ‘cleared’, she guided the new breath of spring and the new fresh- ness of “growth” within to the surface, through bringing the meaning of “what Happiness means” in our lives. Following further deep meditations going within the energy and vibration was such that all the students were supported in the palpable feelings of happiness within. There is an incredible tangible energy held within Swami Aliyananda Paramahansa’s ash- ram, being in this space and presence creates deep healing, energising the body, mind and spirit. Everyone left the workshop a changed person, lighter and in a quiet, contented, peaceful presence, bright and energised to live with “happiness” in all life.

Kiel & Flensburg, Germany In April Swami Aliyananda Paramahansa travelled to Kiel in north Germany , accompanied by her disciple Wendy Scott, a Sound Healer. On her arrival she introduced Kriya Yoga Meditation to a large group, and they were touched by her teachings. Then later the same evening she
