ARTICLE by raising your Energetic Vibration Rejuvenation

+ WORLD PEACE DAY events by Jacqueline Kareh

Raising our vibrational resonance leads us to the calm and joy that sup- port rejuvenation, health and the ability to deal/flow more easily with the challenges of Life…all vital qualities in these times of rapid change. Many people spend time, money and energy on their physical, outer appearance, and on things, in preference to enriching their inner world. Ultimately of course what most of us want is to feel genuinely good about ourselves and at peace within ourselves. There is a freedom that comes from feeling comfortable in our skin, at ease with showing and expressing ourselves with authenticity. It’s great to have the mate- rial things as well but they are not going to make us long-term happy; for that we need to invest in our Selves. We are so conditioned to fit in with society norms; add to that a well-established people- pleasing pattern and we may discover we don’t even know actually what/who our Authentic Self is. We may think we are being authentic but if there is a part of us that feels “I just want to be loved and accepted as I am” then we can be sure that in some areas of our life we are bending and twisting how we express ourselves to fit in with others. Why? Because we want harmony and we want to feel accepted, a sense of belonging.

What do I need to do in order to feel genuinely ‘Comfortable in my Skin’? As I see it, authenticity is an on-going journey that involves being willing to observe yourself. Acknowledge your positive, kind and loving qualities, AND also face what is uncomfortable to face. Notice when you are critical, hard-hearted (=protection) or bluff- ing self-confidence. Below the bravado, judging or putting others down, or playing small and Victim, there’s a fabulous strong and beautiful spirit wanting the right environment that will support it in blossoming and thriving…in ways that feel natural, uncontrived. So, let’s get started, let’s declutter ourselves of restrictive thinking and release the ‘NEW’ you that feels free, expansive and excited by Life. This NEW you is your genuine, authen- tic Self shining through all that you do and I personally see the process as an exciting journey of discovery. In fact you will discover that you as a human can play with express- ing yourself as an infinite range of different SELVES. Once we fully understand this, it becomes much easier to be The Observer and not to take ourselves so seriously.

So, if I have these endless personality traits to play with, how can I know what is authentic?

As I understand and sense it, 2 key aspects relating to Authenticity are:-

1) Feeling connected to your core Being-ness, that essence that is YOU, or could be described as a spark of God, Buddha or Source energy, or the Universal Life Force-call it what you will, in this state we cannot insist ‘Only My Way is Right’ because our overall feeling state is that of UNITY, Peace, Expansive-ness

2) Feeling ‘Comfortable in your Skin’ which comes from loving and accepting yourself as you are
