Welcome to the July issue

Best of luck to all involved in the Upton & Lytchett Minster Carnival this month, which promises to be a great couple of weeks worth of events. Find the Carnival Procession route on page 6 and details of the Art & Music events on pages 28-29.

Welcome back to Mid Dorset and North Poole MP, Michael Tomlinson, who returns in this issue with his news from Westminster (pg12). New advertisers this month include The Original Bed Warehouse (pg7), which is offering a discount for Link readers, and Mr Loveridge Gardening Services (pg24), who will help you to make the most of your outdoor space.

If you are looking for ways to keep the kids entertained over the school holidays, Upton Library and Children’s Centre has a number of craft and activity sessions (pg8) and will also be taking part in the annual Summer Reading Challenge. Meanwhile, The Junction Leisure Centre in Broadstone has added Moana, Trolls and Acro Dance to its extensive list of kids activity days – more on pg15.

Lastly, don’t miss out on page 30, where regular advertiser, Forum Jewellers, is celebrating 35 years in business by offering a £35 gift voucher for anyone spending £100 in store.

Please get in touch if you’d like to advertise your business, organisation or event in our magazines, we would be happy to answer any questions.

Until next time, Karen
