Take it outdoors The sun’s shining and it’s time to get your outdoor space looking

And if you’re throwing a summer garden party, the devil, as they say, is in the detail – from table settings to outdoor furniture for lounging in the sun, take time to get it all looking right and it’ll be a day to remember for you, your family, and for your guests.

For the table, we love Marks & Spencer’s vintage-inspired Dovecote serveware range. Made from melamine, it won’t break even if it’s dropped on the patio and yet it looks convincingly like china, so there’s no sense of roughing it just because you’re dining alfresco. For real fl exibility when you’re cooking and dining outdoors, it would be hard to beat Louise Cohen’s modular Life Is Unlimited table [6]. It
