CAMRA Kent Beer Festival • 20th-22nd July The 43rd Kent Beer Festival returns to the farm just outside Canterbury, with more than 200 beers and ciders, wine bar, live music, great food, a family area and camping. The Kent bar has beers from most of Kent’s many wonderful microbreweries. There are also great beers from all over the UK. The foreign beer bar has a worldwide selection. Faversham Hop Festival • 2nd-3rd September One of the largest free street festivals in the South East, this event celebrates the medieval town’s hop heritage with live music, arts and crafts, Morris dancers, street performers and processions.


Ramsgate Festival • 22nd-30th July


The festival encompasses everything great about Ramsgate summer fun: Best Fest, Ramsgate Week Sailing Regatta and Ramsgate Carnival. Enjoy nine days of entertainment with a great mix of outdoor arts, music, shows, exhibitions, workshops, walks and talks. This year’s theme is ‘Dream Marine’ – with events including opera, a twilight procession and fi re display, and a 30m long ‘Ramsgate Slide’. A celebration of English and multi-cultural folk music and dance will have Broadstairs bursting with music-loving people. Headliners include Lau, The Dylan Project, Faustus, the Demon Barbers, Rusty Shackle, Phil Henry and Hannah Martin – with dances, ceilidhs, and workshops all part of the fun.
