JUNE My Life As A Courgette Cinema City

Tis Swiss and French stop motion adult comedy/drama was nominated for the Best Animated Feature Film at the Academy Awards back in February. It might look like a silly kids tale but this is a story that delights the senses as well as dealing with family issues, alcoholism, being taken into care and first love. Incredibly worthwhile yet also beautiful and fun, make sure you head to Cinema City to catch it this month.

15-18 JUNE German Bierfest Chapelfield Gardens

Tere’s nothing finer than a beer in the sun, amirite? Soak up the rays in Chapelfield Gardens with a bratwurst and one of three different specially-brewed Bavarian beers. Or all three. Pop your head into the Fun Time Area, which does what it says on the tin, and get yourself a Heidi wig in the special German souvenir house. In the evening join the party in the Bier Tent – grab your Lederhosen or Dirndl and get ready to oompah oompah with the rest of Norwich. Open from noon until 11 at night, so pace yourselves, yo.
