naturally the photography at this time of day can be rewarding but to me the solitude and time for quiet reflection are equally important. It is a time to notice the little things in life. A time to pick up a stone or shell and examine it in detail. some wise person told me that I should live every sunrise as if it’s your first and view every sunset as if it’s your last. The great thing about strolling on a beach is that time doesn’t move hour to hour but mood to moment. My aim is to capture these moods in a photograph but I know the memories of the sea will remain long after my footprints in the sand have been washed away.
