Online ‘noticeboards’ can be another very useful way to both gather and share information. The example above was made using Padlet, an online noticeboard tool. It enables people to add written and multimedia ‘notices’, in this case to reflect on a CPD module they have done. A similar online noticeboard, presented in the format of a ‘personal magazine’ is Flipboard.


Noticeboards and walls in action research projects


Here are some ways that you might use noticeboards and walls as part of your action research: • To gather people’s ideas in a time and, if online, a location of their own choosing.


• As a way to enable people to contribute to research using a mode that they feel most comfortable with (using audio, video, art, links, brief comments, etc.)


• To show other people in your research report the methodology you used (images of your noticeboard can help to ‘illuminate’ your research process).
