with activity and noise, take the time to close your eyes, relax and get quiet. Even taking a ten minute break close your eyes and take deep breaths during times of stress will make a significant difference in the way you cope with things.
I: Introspection/
Intuition/Inner wisdom Take time to reflect on where you are and where you are headed. Taking time to think through your coping plan before you act gives you a preview of things to come and will prepare you for challenges that may come your way. When you take the time to get quiet and go within, you give yourself the gift of the present moment and connect with your inner wisdom. Your intuition is a very powerful force and your unconscious can pick up on things that your logical mind may not. When choices need to be made, take time for introspection and ignite your inner wisdom.
C: Community
With transition comes uncertain- ty. One of the best ways to con- quer the emotion of uncertainty is to turn to experts, coaches and others in the community who specialize in, or have effectively overcome the same transition. Stay away from negative sources or chat groups that talk just about the problem and not the solution. Turning to others who have made positive changes will help you feel connected, understood and empowered in moving forward.

E: Exercise
Move your body-find an activity that you enjoy and incorporate it into a daily or weekly routine. Schedule it on your calendar and make it as important as your other obligations. Regular exercise is as important to your mental health as it is to your physical health. The sense of commitment will help you stay focused on moving forward.
S: Small steps
Jeanna Gabellini of Master Peace coaching teaches “Baby Steps to Avalanches.” When you take the first step forward you are met with synchronicities-the people, circumstances, support systems and ideas all show up. This is not a coincidence. When you read about other people’s transitions you will find it to be true as well. Continuing to take small steps of inspired action, one after the other, and before you know it you will be met with opportunity on the other side of the event.
