I’ve also learned to listen to what we aren’t saying . . . aren’t realizing . . . and aren’t doing to support, encour- age, and uplift ourselves.
I’ve watched as some women make brilliant choices that continually catapult their lives (personally and profession- ally), while other equally intelligent women make decisions that set them up for repeated drama and dysfunction. I’ve seen gorgeous, fabulous women act like insecure, little girls, while other talented, soul-satisfying women can be observed giving up on their dreams, expecting nothing or no one to believe in them because they feel selfish or unworthy.
I’ve witnessed myself behave in a variety of ways over the years, trying to navigate through different problems and challenges. I’ve acted like a demand- ing and spoiled little girl—angry and self-sabotaging (Daughter Energy™), a matronly martyr—giving, doting, nurtur- ing, and protecting (Mother Energy™),
as well as a courageous and receiving woman—gentle, fair, beautiful, loving, and strong (Woman Energy™). I could be my own best friend or my own worst enemy. I could feel amazing about myself. I could also feel disgusted and discontent. I was happy. I was sad. I was up. I was down. I had good luck. I had back luck.
Empowerment appeared to be random and indiscriminate.
I wondered if sustained joy was truly possible? Did we have control over our destiny or did we have to merely accept the cards we were dealt—handling life as best we could, based on our circum- stances?
Then, I figured something out . . .
My becoming acutely aware of my own personality—how I was handling conflict, communicating my needs, treat- ing myself (and others), and viewing the world at large—I saw a correlation between my greatest successes and my most traumatic failures. I realized I wasn’t merely a by-stander in my own life. I was an influencer. I had more authority than I realized. I was shaping my destiny. Perhaps even being the source of my own pain and pleasure.
I, then, began to pay attention to the persona or energy other especially em- powered women carried and I noticed an

essence . . . a presence . . . they had that effortlessly influenced and commanded attention rather than demanding or evad- ing it. Never giving more than they could afford to lose, these specific women shared the gifts they were born to give, letting their hearts lead them, worrying less of what others thought of them versus how they felt about themselves.
I asked myself, “Could we be that power- ful? Could we literally change the course of our lives simply by our response to it?”
The answer is yes!
Here’s what I know for certain: Inside every woman is an essence of pure, mag- nificent energy—an emotional space that is receiving, loving, confident, allowing, intuitive, sexy, strong, and capable. When we step fully into this place, we become authentic, powerful beyond measure. We know who we are. We know what we want. We know where we’re going. We are clear, concise, and uncompli- cated. And everyone around us feels it too. Nothing to do with actual physical beauty (as society refers to it), I call this power Woman Energy™--it makes every woman more attractive and attracting.
Woman Energy™ is the only energy where we can create and sustain the greatest expressions of ourselves—in all areas from wealth to health, love to sex, parenting to friendships.
