“Summer of Art” Ceramics & Art Camp Get your child’s creative juices flowing before the start of the school year in this creative arts & crafts camp. Your child will explore a variety of media including acrylics on canvas, watercolors, pastels, clay sculpture, and more! Summer will be represented through landscape painting, still-life, animals, and other themes. Clay projects will be glazed and fired. All art supplies and aprons will be provided. A $20 material fee (includes kiln firing & glazing) is payable to instructor at the first class. Instructor: Lucia Henry.

Ceramics Creations Camp Have a blast learning how to turn clay into wonderful creatures and other fun projects. We will hand build the pieces as we learn techniques such as coiling, scoring and slab, and decorate them with under glazes. Different projects each week. All pieces will be glazed and fired. Arts & Architecture Camp Mathematical perspective was first developed in Renaissance art as a method of accurately depicting 3 dimensional depth on a flat surface. This course teaches the basics of geometric framework by constructing drawings of various scales and levels. Exercises will begin with simple objects and develop to exterior building and landscape compositions. Students work to their abilities in this flexible course.
