O.A.K.S. Summer Day Camp Attention all 5 to 12 year olds! If you love to explore and discover nature, this program is for you! Each of these fun and challenging camp sessions will develop your outdoor awareness, knowledge, and skills. Not long ago, existence depended on the ability to live harmoniously with the plant and animal resources in the local environment. At O.A.K.S. Summer Day Camp, participants are introduced to Native American lifestyles through various program components. Each session will focus on a special nature topic and will include trail walks, art, nature, games, and Native American traditions. If requested session(s) are filled, the child's name will be placed on a waiting list and your check will be returned. Sessions are 1 week, Monday-Friday, 9am - 1pm. Parents are invited to join us on Friday for the weekly Pow Wow. Hanta Yo! Fees include all materials and a Day Camp T-shirt. *Awesome Amphibians camp is $84. Instructor: Oak Canyon Nature Center Staff.

at Oak Canyon Nature Center Oak Canyon Nature Center outdoor amphitheater and back deck area are available on a rental basis for weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, and anniversary parties. Let the Nature Center staff help you make your next event the best ever.
Cinema Under the Stars Enjoy some of your favorite nature movies under a summer canopy of oaks and stars! Movies will be shown on Oak Canyon's amphitheater stage. Each evening will begin with a naturalist led nature walk at 7:30 pm followed by the film at 8 pm. Movies will be approximately 90 minutes long. Cinema Under the Stars will be a great activity for individuals, families, scouts, and other groups. This program is FREE, though donations are graciously accepted!

Nature Nights Oak Canyon Nature Center's Nature Nights Program returns this summer every Wednesday evening from July 11 - August 15. Evenings begin with a naturalist led nature walk at 7 pm followed by the program beginning at 7:30 pm. This program is FREE, though donations are graciously accepted!
