NORFOLK AND SUFFOLK LOCAL ENTERPRISE COUNCIL (LEP)
THE BOARD OF THE NEW ANGLIA LOCAL ENTERPRISE PARTNERSHIP (LEP) HAS NOW TAKEN SHAPE.
Two major CEOs in David Gledhill from Hutchison Ports and Andy Wood from Adnams PLC have been appointed and bring with them nationally recognised million pound business management expertise.

APPOINTED “We are delighted to appoint six business leaders who will lead New Anglia.” said current Joint Chairman of New Anglia LEP Development Group Peter Barry, who did not stand for election.
“Between them, they bring Norfolk and Suffolk a wealth of business acumen, success and a dynamic approach to getting the job done. The business leaders have knowledge in important priority sectors for New Anglia and have a range of skills in creating start-up businesses, leading small and medium sized enterprises as well as major companies. ”

“This is a great opportunity for Norfolk and Suffolk to work together, prosper and ensure New Anglia competes on an international level,” said Andy Wood who has been the Joint Chairman of New Anglia LEP Development Group with Peter Barry. “We know that working together, across business and the public sector, we can ensure economic development is at the heart of what we do and is at the heart of the future for New Anglia. I am delighted to be working with such talented and experienced colleagues and look forward to being part of driving our economy forward.”
Hutchison Ports UK, owners and operators of the Port of Felixstowe, Harwich and London Thamesport,is a business with over 3,000 employees.
