As our regular readers will now know we have various themes or focuses for each of our editions. We believe it gives our publication greater interest in highlighting issues within the industry and giving our more vocal movers and shakers an opportunity to focus their attention on relevant issues.

REGIONAL FOCUS
As reported in our last issue we are commencing a ‘Spotlight On’ feature in this edition and we will move on to other areas which we believe could be described as ‘a European area of excellence in wind energy’.
We start with East Anglia and we hope you enjoy reading about what is available in the area, and how it has prepared itself for the daunting projects which lie ahead.
Our focus in the next edition will be Hull and Humberside and we will be contacting relevant companies and organisations in due course to give them the opportunity of getting involved and letting us know about their achievements.
RENEWABLEUK
As previously reported we have agreed to feature the work of RenewableUK from an independent viewpoint. We start with a profile of the organisation which describes where it started, where it sits now, and what their aims and aspirations are for the future.
This is a good starting point from which to continue in future editions and cover in more detail, the work which they carry out on the industry’s behalf.
WIND ENERGY NETWORK ONLINE
We started out as a magazine and everything else came after that – as an editor that fits very nicely thank you!
We now find, after more than a year since our launch, that the magazine, although important, is in no way the most important part of Wind Energy Network.
