Blacks finally rose up to a position of respect and greatness. Phrases like “Black is Beautiful,” “Black and Proud”, “Do for Self”, “Accept your own”, and “Black Power” were proudly expressed by people from across the world. Black was indeed the thing to be. They had their own businesses, institutions, and means of production. They were becoming truly free and independent and had abundant skills and education. They had their own printing companies and the like. Howev- er, they had no idea what America had in store for them. The downfall of the Black race was planned and they were eventu- ally brought back to their knees. There were series of incidents that
took place and repressed the improve- ment Blacks were making: the FBI’s COINTELPRO from 1955 - 1971, which destroyed progressive Black movements and assassinated Black leaders, the CIA’s flooding the Black communities with drugs in the 1970’s, the damage caused after Blacks integrated into white society (They gave up most of their businesses and power so they can shop and spend their money with white people; also to be with and work for them). race riots

in the early 1920s destroyed prosperous Black cities and communities. In Africa, “negro-colonialism” replaced colonial- ism and whites still controlled most of its natural resources and maintained po- litical power. This is a brief overview of what happened. THE RACE RIOTS: The destruction of Black Wallstreet,
the indepent Black towns and institutions, was a major step in the plot to bring the Black race to their knees. . The prosper- ity of Black businesses and circulation/ investment of “Black dollars” in the com- munity made the country envious. Whites were angry at the rate this district was flourishing and looked for any excuse to cause chaos. The white woman was often used as justification. The most infamous instances where white woman where used to trigger black destruction were in the early 1900s. It caused thousands of Blacks to be murdered and displaced. In 1921, Tulsa Oklahoma was com-
pletely destroyed by racist whites. The governor of Oklahoma even allowed planes to bomb the city. Black men, women and children were hung from trees, burned alive, and even buried in mass in coal mines. it was a true atrocity. The KKK worked hand-in-hand with the government to destroy those people, pure atrocity. This hatred and jealousy trig- gered similar riots in other parts of the country, from Chicago to Detroit, Cleve- land, and Rosewood, where angry whites went on a murderous rampage.
