Indoor operators in particular may find the new “3 in 1” option a great use of space, incorporating as it does an extra childrens ride in each ring of the figure-8 layout. Nick Laister is to step down as chairman of The Dreamland Trust, the charity that was founded in 2003 to save and preserve the heritage of Dreamland amusement park in Margate, Kent. The Swedish supplier SB International has confirmed it will supply vehicles for a number of new driving school and boating school attractions at Legoland Dubai, which opens this October. On order are 26 boats, 45 junior cars and 12 mini cars. WGH Transportation Engineering develops dark ride, monorail and custom transport systems for clients ranging from museums to theme parks. Its new owner is Stage One Creative Services (stageone.co.uk) Both companies are based in Yorkshire.
