n last year’s Super Fam, we stayed at Universal’s Cabana
Bay Beach Resort, which has a cool 1950’s - 60’s era retro vibe. Close to both Universal Orlando® theme parks, the hotel has a Starbucks, cleverly laid-out pool area, 10-lane bowling alley, and family suites that sleep up to six people. I loved this property! Revenge of the
Mummy®, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit®, and Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular® were a few of my highlights. I now realise that Universal Orlando is a great experience for everyone; adults and children of all ages. I had an awesome time, and feel as if I am far better equipped to sell the destination now I have seen it first-hand.

eaWorld was one of my favourite days – the Blue Horizons dolphin show was breathtaking! A must-see is Antarctica: Empire of the Penguins –
you can get so close that it really is an experience of a lifetime. The behind-the-scenes tour was incredible, as we saw how SeaWorld takes care of all the animals. Across the road at Aquatica, the new Ihu’s
Breakaway Falls cannot be missed. I loved the Serengeti Safari in Busch Gardens –
feeding the giraffes was an amazing experience. The thrill rides they have in the park were also
great: I think Falcon’s Fury is the tallest and scariest ride I have ever seen. Discovery Cove was magical. There are more than 250 exotic birds in the aviary. Snorkelling with the stingrays, tropical fish and swimming with the dolphins was an experience I’ll never forget.

he Super Fam was a once-in-a-lifetime trip and showed me how much there is to do and see at Walt Disney World Resort.
I stayed at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. The
hotel was in a great location and made the parks easily accessible with the frequent complimentary bus transfers. As an on-site guest, I also benefited from Extra Magic Hours in the park and was able to utilise MyDisneyExperience to personalise my MagicBand and book Disney FastPass+ in advance. We also benefited from the Disney’s Quick
Service Dining, which catered for all appetites. The six parks have something for everyone, from families with young children to thrill-seekers. I enjoyed the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which reaches speeds of 60mph. I advise booking tickets in the UK, as it’s cheaper and allows you to hop between parks at your leisure.
