Specialist operator Wilderness Safaris has begun work on a new mountain gorilla and chimpanzee lodge in Rwanda, a new country in its African portfolio. The 12-cottage Bisate Lodge, set to open next summer, is intended to set a new standard of luxury for lodges in the area and offer a base for gorilla trekking. It is being built as part of a conservation project, with the first phase focusing on indigenous reforestation of a 26-hectare site. Keith Vincent, group chief
