We continue our preview of the Compounding World

Forum 2014 with a look at the presentations lined up for the second day of this leading conference for the plastics compounding industry

Compounding World Forum: previewing the second day

The second Compounding World Forum is being hosted by Compounding World magazine and Applied Market Information (AMI) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA on 9-10 December.

It will build on the considerable success of the fi rst

such event, which took place last year and was a sell-out with more than 230 attendees and 37 exhibi- tors. This year, the event has been moved to a larger venue – the Loews Hotel in the heart of Philadelphia. Places are selling fast with over 200 attendees and more than 40 exhibitors already signed up two months ahead of the event. Focusing on the latest market and technology trends for technical compounders, the two-day conference will

cover many of Compounding World magazine’s most popular themes in a live format. This will provide a rare opportunity to learn fi rst-hand about these important developments as well as discussing them with key players from throughout the supply chain. The packed conference programme features 21 high-

level presentations from expert speakers, including senior managers from leading global compounders, as well as innovative raw materials suppliers and machin- ery manufacturers. Last month we looked at the 12 presentations lined

up for the fi rst day of the event – you can read it at http://bit.ly/CWFpreview. Here we preview the second day of the conference, which will be chaired by Andy
