Royal Caribbean unveils new training and roadshows Hollie-Rae Merrick

Royal Caribbean International is offering more training and trade support ahead of the launch of its new ships Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas. The line recently added a new module, Quantum Hub, to its Cruising for Excellence training programme. The 10-minute course gives an overview of the ships and enables agents to learn more about the line’s Dynamic Dining concept, entertainment and accommodation. Agents can now access the course using iPads and iPhones for the first time.

Quantum of the Seas: new training

The sales team will also host

more than 35 roadshows for Thomson, Thomas Cook and other agents. It expects the Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas- focused events to reach more than 1,000 agents by the end of October. The training drive will involve Seminars at Sea, with top-selling

agents getting to experience one of three ship-based sessions this autumn. More than 75 agents will be taken on board Allure of the Seas and Majesty of the Seas in November, giving them first-hand experience of the features and activities available to guests. Ben Bouldin, Royal’s sales

director for the UK and Ireland, said: “With one of our most exciting seasons to date fast approaching, our commitment to our trade partners has never been stronger. “Agents continue to be one of our most important audiences.” cruisingpower.co.uk
