Garuda Indonesia starts Gatwick-Jakarta route Garuda Indonesia has introduced flights between Gatwick and Jakarta. The service will operate five times a week and include a stopover in Amsterdam. The inaugural flight took place on Monday, with former Liverpool FC players Ian Rush and Robbie Fowler helping to check in passengers. Garuda Indonesia is Liverpool’s official airline and training kit partner.

Tui websites offer flights by third-party carriers Tui has made flights with third-party carriers available on its Thomson and First Choice websites. Holidaymakers can now book more destinations from their local airport and take advantage of varying holiday durations, ranging from three to 14 nights. The new flights have been made available following the integration of new software on the Thomson and First Choice websites as part of the TUInnovate programme.

Cambridge airport Fred Olsen Travel has unveiled its new agency at Cambridge airport. Located in the check-in area of the


newly refurbished terminal, the outlet was officially opened by Paula Robertson, Fred Olsen Travel brand manager. The store is Fred Olsen Travel’s first in-airport outlet, its ninth in East Anglia and its first in Cambridge. Managing director Steve Williams said:
