nstead of having a summer break, the education sector has made some big changes over the past few weeks. The Prime Minister’s cabinet reshuffle saw David Willets and Michael Gove resign from their posts as Minister for Universities and Science and Education Secretary, respectively.


The news follows speculation on a number of previous occasions that Willets was at risk of losing the universities brief. Greg Clark has since been appointed as the new Minister for Universities and Science, and Treasury Minister Nicky Morgan will replace Michael Gove.
