2KPS’ EASF-V is awarded an Option 1 ETA


2K Polymer Systems (2KPS) is a UK based manufacturer of two component chemical anchoring systems exclusively for private label. Running a strong investment programme in technical approvals, 2KPS has recently received Option 1 European Technical Assessment for its EASF-V anchoring system (ETA – 14/0104).


(ETA – 10/0099) are also automatically included in the new Option 1 Assessment. The anchoring system is available in summer grade (EASF-VE) and winter grade (EASF-VC), which allows the full EASF-V range to suit all geographical and climatic requirements. In addition, it has a European Technical Approval for post-installed rebar connections (ETA – 13/0586), is LEED tested, and has an A+

he ETA covers M10 – M24 sizes for cracked concrete – where M10 is an important size for the façades market – and includes F120 fire resistance according to TR020. All benefits of the previously issued Option 7 ETA

Parabond 800 – heavy-duty superpowers


DL Chemicals has introduced Parabond 800 – a new adhesive sealant based on MS polymers that it says has an extreme high initial tack and offers super strength for bonding heavy elements without the need for clamping.

arabond 800 is the latest member of the Parabond range and bonds without primer on nearly all surfaces occurring in the building and construction industry. DL Chemicals points out that Parabond 800 is extremely useful for the structural gluing of panels and elements in the professional façade, interior and ceiling construction.


Charateristics of the Parabond 800 include multipurpose gluing and mounting, extremely high initial bonding, solvent and isocyanate free, permanently elastic, UV and weather resistant, and suitable for applications with high humidity.
